Opting Out & Opting In: PLEASE READ! :

Valentino’s character involves themes that may be triggering for some people. Because of this, participation in roleplay with him is completely optional. You’re always free to opt out with no explanation needed—I want everyone to feel safe and comfortable. I can and will respect your boundaries.

Here are some very important rules and boundaries I will be following while roleplaying Valentino. Please read:

No graphic or titillating depictions of sexual violence or abuse by default. These elements will be handled through implication rather than explicit detail. The only exception would be in clearly discussed, opt-in situations with trusted writing partners (e.g., established OOC communication). In those cases, content would be pre-discussed and placed behind appropriate warnings, dropdowns, or moved to private IC inbox threads.
Focus on power dynamics and consequences over shock value. Valentino’s cruelty and manipulation will be explored in terms of impact and character psychology, rather than for sensationalism.
Strong OOC communication and consent practices. I will check in before engaging with plots involving coercion, addiction, or abuse-related themes and will respect all limits without pushback.
Clear opt-in structure for heavier material. The default approach is fade-to-black or implied handling. Explicit or NSFW tones will only occur with mutual agreement, clear boundaries, and the understanding that consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Consistent use of content warnings and tagging. Including for implied material.
Flexibility and responsiveness. If a player becomes uncomfortable, I will redirect or end the thread immediately without issue.
No romanticising or justifying abuse. Valentino will be portrayed as manipulative, self-serving, and dangerous. His charisma will not be framed as an endorsement of his actions.
Firm boundary regarding minors. Valentino will not engage in sexual or exploitative content involving minors under any circumstances. Interactions with underage characters will remain strictly non-sexual and free of grooming, coercion, or romantic framing.
Thematic framing over explicit harm. Addiction and coercive dynamics will be treated as explorations of control and corruption rather than vehicles for graphic on-screen harm.
Commitment to a safe collaborative space. My goal is to contribute thoughtfully and responsibly to an environment where difficult themes can be explored with care.
